After our nice long walk on the trail and a short rest at Michaela’s house  we decided to grab our cameras and walk  to a nearby field, where Michaela had seen some flowers and wild onions growing.    We walked around a bit and took pictures.  Michaela handed me an onion to smell, which I did and it smells just like the onions you eat.   Well…. Michaela turned her back to me and bent down to take some pictures….big mistake for her!   I threw the onion at her and it hit her in the back!   I don’t know what came over me, but it was really funny and the look on her face was priceless, I wish I would have gotten a picture of it.      Here we are throwing onions at each other.

Or: adventures in walking, part 1

Amber found a new place to walk. It’s a nature trail that goes through and around a local golf course. We went yesterday and it’s a really nice trail. A lot of it is through trees, so there is a lot of shade (which will be nice when it gets hot here… except for the mosquitoes! There weren’t any yesterday, but it was probably a little too chilly out).
We walked a LOT!! Our guess is about 3-4 miles, if not more. But it was a nice walk, and fun, too! We even saw a little baby turtle.  We had left he cameras at my house, but we had our phones…. unfortunately the pictures turned out too blurry.
We did think these signs were pretty funny (no heads where hit by golf balls on this walk)

Crazy… and I… decided…. to go walking… a couple of…. times a week… (sorry…. totally outta breath here)…. we’ve been…. slacking… a bit lately.. though…. probably Crazy’s fault…. right? Can’t be mine… ’cause…. I live closer to…. the… park… where we walk!
I mean…. what do you expect… from a Crazy who… wears Nike’s! Yup…. the slacking is alll…. her fault!
